If you believe the reporting done on the Armstrong fraud, Lance started on EPO as soon as he started racing in Europe (pre cancer) because he couldn't compete with the Italians who'd been doping for years and, by that time, had it down to a science. Then while he was sidelined with a touch of the cancer, a bunch of European cyclists got busted. So, when he came back, he was doping stronger and smarter than ever while the majority of his competition had stopped or cut way down because they were scared they'd get caught and go to jail.

BTW, the hot rumor on the PGA Tour is that Woods is suspended for testing positive for PEDs. The tour has a policy not to make their disciplinary actions public, but if he's healthy and does't play the Masters, that will speak for itself.
