Just to hold the position, build our board as best we can, and hope to play against the opp's defensive bar point anchor when he's forced to leave it. 16/10 seems clear. It dupes threes along with not doing all the bad things that any other play does like giving up a point (the 8pt), putting checkers where they don't belong (out of order in the inner board), or killing our flexibility/timing.
