DK v. World Final Tonight

I started watching with The World 9-2 up; I wish I could also say that it was an enjoyable match to watch, but I left before that game was finished, even though it was an interesting game: it was just so slow.

I could not read the clocks, so couldn't deduce what the TC were. I learn that it was a 15 sec delay, which is not bad; don't know what the reserve was. I accept that in a team match the TC will be the slowest settings of all, and that there will be games that are more complex, and especially decisions that are so, but it just seemed to me that the controls must have been overly generous considering the amount of discussion that was taking place on both sides.

Listening to the opinions of the best players can certainly be instructive. (There was so much disagreement that this was dissipated rather.) But even to this slower than average player, as a spectacle, it was just not enjoyable to watch.
