In Response To: ruling in the Nordic Open SJ (Bob Koca)

It seems unreasonable to me to disallow resignation if there is ANY chance of winning.

I calculate the least possible odds of winning at about 1 in a tredecillion, which I'm certain is more than the number of BG games played since the game was invented. Can we really blame anyone for resigning in the face of odds like that, even if winning is still possible? Maybe they have a plane to catch.
