According to these rollouts you *are* the favorite in this game in the sense of who will win it more often cubeless (and even winning more gammons and backgammons as well).

The negative equity is because opponent's potential for getting value from the cube is much higher than yours. You both have access, but due to the score, your opponent is much more likely to be able to send a high value cube than you are. This was exactly Tim Chow's point about the difference between favorite to win and EMG favorite.
