It just so happens two Bulgarian chess players were caught cheating - it is no reflection on Bulgaria and I would hope no rational person would think that. People lie cheat and steal and worse in every country in the world every day.

The proof against all chess cheaters was proved (including the famous French case), the fact that Nigalidze repeatedly visited the same toilet stall where the Iphone was found wrapped in toilet paper, and the Iphone was logged into Nigalidze's social media site and chess software running is not in dispute.

So calm down and stop all this nonsense about having the cheater play a weaker player and witchcraft.

It's very sad that someone can do this, thankfully no one as far as I know has figured out a way to cheat in live backgammon.
