hi Tom,

because Xavier has published the format and Michael Petsch published some code I'll sure will support XGF files/positions eventually. Now it was only the question to delay the release further or not. I easily could work full-time for BGBlitz and even keep another developer or two busy for the next 3 years ;)) but this is not possible.

You're right. The Position-DB stuff is one of the oldest things (IIRC my eldest daughter was 4 wehen I wrote and she now goes to university...) I'll brush up the user interface but maybe it will be 3.0 and in 2.9 users (so you have statistics) and at least some kind of analyses will be provided first. It's *really* overdue.

and yes I love Debbies boards too :) I have seen most of them in the development and the work she put even in tiny details.....
