In Response To: Boring positions: beaking up is hard to do (svilo)

My keyboard is heading for the bath tub. It eats some letters an some times the alt and ctrl keys. In Bulgaria we very much like our lamb belly soup. I remember vividly my good friend "Uncle Bobby" 45 years ago - inside the tub he has stepped firm on the 1.5 meter long belly, his one hand holding the other end, his other hand holding the soap and rubbing the belly for a wash. That is what I'm gonna do with my keyboard now and meanwhile use another. 3-4 days it will dry in an upright position...

Moves: 3-ply, cube decisions: XG Roller

It is a hard decision to vacate the midpoint, but here three of the top 2 moves vacate it wholly or partially. My choice R (22/11) being 16 pip behind and the roll is the fourth best. It is a pivotal position where is is equally good to stay with one checker on the midpoint against the coming cube or stay put in the enemy fields and continue the home building effort.
