Bill,

I applaud you for learning that lesson. Perhaps this is far more valuable than the cost you paid in this match. I was watching it online as it happened, and I could see your pain (more so as the cup rolled across the board!).

I recall a similar situation that happened to me in Novi a few years back, where I rolled consecutive 8's then 2 x 44's to leave forced blots - which were all gratuitously missed to give me a match winning gammon.
