BGTrain ranking

I haven't played on the bgtrain website for a couple of months and was surprised that I am now up from around 250th to 24th on the leader board. Wow, I thought, do nothing and get better!. However, it looks like there has been a big clear out as there are now only 114 names on the leader board. Anyone know why so many users have disappeared?
