I agree that keeping the computer away is a good thing. As I recall, the computer was checked on a few positions and its verdict announced during the session, which I personally don't care for. There's an infinite amount of time available later when I can check the bot.

Just as a brainstorming idea, I wonder if having two primary commentators rather than a single primary commentator and two secondary commentators would be worth considering? Let me emphasize that I'm not saying that I think this would necessarily be better, just that it's something to think about. I thought Falafel carried out his role of primary commentator very well, but at times I found myself wanting to hear more from the other commentators when they had a different opinion. Although I think most people would say that Carter's backgammon skill is not in the same league as Falafel's or MCG's, I still found it valuable when he made his occasional comment. For example sometimes he would express doubt about Falafel's verdict, and often it was something I was wondering about myself. Regardless of who was right or wrong in such cases, discussion of such issues is what the commentary is there for.
