I like playing with one blot and readying it for escape, without helping white's timing: 23/21 15/10. Next turn, large numbers escape and small number are small to begin with, and may make the 7. And White does not have the spares to attack with.

This is not an easy play as something could be said for 15/13*/8 (wins more net gammons) and 23/16 (escapes). 23/16 was my first play, but it leaves a lot of shots, so I rejected it in the end.
