Yes, some people have difficulties in understanding the correct logic. The way to understand it that works best for me is the variation where there are not 3 doors, but 10000 doors, of which only one contains the Mercedes. So you pick one door, and then the host goes and opens up 9998 of the other doors, all of them empty. Were you incredibly lucky in your initial pick, or do you rather think that maybe the Merc is behind the last door left unopened?
