London Open Schedule and Joining Information

No players have currently paid for their entry. Monies paid to the previous organiser are not the responsibility of the UKBGF. We have no reason to suppose that these will not be refunded. All players will need to pay £50 registration to the UKBGF in order to play in the London Open 2015 and any associated tournaments.
Hippodrome Rewards Scheme
All players at the London Open 2015 must be members of the Hippodrome Casino Rewards Scheme. You can join on the day. Please bring photo ID with you. Joining takes approximately 90 seconds. Please try to do this in advance. You must have done this before you can register. The Hippodrome is a 24/7 venue and you can join any time before you register.
The UKBGF will be in place ready to take registration monies and UKBGF memberships from 5 p.m. on Friday 8th May.
Super Jackpot Players:
Super Jackpot Players must have registered and paid for the Tournament in person at the Hippodrome before 6:30 p.m. on Friday 8th May. Please allow at least 30 minutes for registration and payment. You must be a member of the Hippodrome Rewards Scheme to register.
The Super Jackpot starts at 7:00 p.m. on Friday 8th May.
Warm-Up Tournaments
Warm-Up Tournaments on Friday 8th May will start from 7:00 p.m.
The London Open 2015, Professionals’ Tournament and Hippodrome Cup
London Open, Professionals’ Tournament and Hippodrome Cup Players must have registered and paid for these Tournaments in person at the Hippodrome before 9:30 a.m. on Saturday 9th May. Please allow at least 45 minutes for registration and payment. Please try to register and pay on Friday 8th May if at all possible. We expect long queues Saturday morning. You must be a member of the Hippodrome Rewards Scheme to register.
The London Open starts at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday 9th May.
The Professionals’ Tournament starts at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday 9th May.
The Hippodrome Cup starts at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday 9th May.
There will be side pools in the London Open for players that want to play for money. These will be set at £5, £20 and £50. These pools are segregated and paid to the highest placed finisher in each pool – i.e. the person who progresses furthest in the £5 pool will win all of the £5 pool. In the case of a tie the pool will be split.
Side Tournaments
These will run throughout the weekend and will include speed tournaments and doubles tournaments. There will be a wide variety of entry fees and 100% return of all entry fees in prize money. You may not join a Side Tournament if you are still alive in any other tournament. This is to ensure that players are not kept waiting on an opponent. Players breaking this rule will forfeit their match.
The London Shield
The London Shield will begin at 11 a.m. on Sunday 9th May. You may not join a Side Tournament if you are still alive in any other tournament. Registration for the London Shield closes at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday 9th May. There will be side pools in the London Shield for players that want to play for money. These will be set at £5, £20 and £50.
