Thanks! I have just added some 'fancy' buttons from http://cssload.net/ thinking that I could offload some compatibility challenges to others. It generates code that is full of: 

 

	background:linear-gradient(to bottom, #ededed 5%, #dfdfdf 100%); 

	filter:progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.gradient(startColorstr='#ededed', endColorstr='#dfdfdf',GradientType=0); 

	background-color:#ededed; 

	-moz-border-radius:6px; 

	-webkit-border-radius:6px;

I seldom bother to spend a lot of time catering for every obscure browser out there! But it looks like this strategy didn't work 100%.

Hm. It works fine in safari on windows (5.1.7) which makes harder for me to debug.

I'm not convinced it has anything to do with menu.css as it is not used when you view the board. If you have the board there and then hit reload does additional error messages show up in the log? If not then I suspect it could be something else.

I just got feedback from another Mac user which doesn't have any problems. He is using:

OS - versjon 10.10.3
Safari - versjon 8.0.6

If you're using an older version you might have to upgrade or switch to another browser where it works fine.
