i agree

i have friends who don't know i play BG and i've heard several of them mention BG in the past 6 months. could be a coincidence if it was 1 or 2. but its been several. Maybe before I wasn't paying attention, but thats unlikely as I played a few years back until my back got bad

i have always liked action, i dont care for casino action, Pool action is strong in the South. In Atlanta there has been some $20,000 sessions the past few weeks, Josh Ariea(pro poker player) has been playing there. Got the call last night, they wanted me to come down-i been playing BG not pool so i passed.

The reason for the brief pool story ties in with Phil's post. Action Creates interest, The guy who called me plays pool like Mochy plays BG-Johnny Archer(player of the decade 90-99-and should have been 2000-2010 as well). JA and I are very close friends and we met in pool 30 years ago, rarely do we talk about pool. It's his job, and we usually choose to talk about our private life's(family, biz-not pool related, and other things). For JA to mention action IS very rare-Which supports Phil's assertion that action drives enthusiasm for a game, sport, etc.

if its worth doing its worth doing for money. The social aspect is very nice as well, in gambling for the most part.
