I have played bluff gammon. It is a great gambling game and lots of fun.

I also invented cancelgammon, where you get to either roll over one time or force your opponent to roll over one time...that adds an exciting skill factor to the game as well to decide when you should exercise this option.

How about once a game, before the cube is turned, you get to call your opponent's roll?

I have come up with and advocated many variations, and as a result some have "accused me" of not liking backgammon the way it is. I love the game the way it is and have and will continue to play it for hours at a time. But variations are also fun. I can only eat so much Cherry Garcia, sometimes I have to put a little butterscotch on it.
