great position! After looking for several minutes (much more time than I would spend over the board) playing 18/13 4/1* dupes 1s and 4s and leaves fewer shots on the opponent's next roll.

Playing 18/10 gives the opponent 32 shots. We can't lose a gammon here, so that is not a concern. Hitting on the 1 pt gives 27 shots with 5 shots hitting 2 of our blots. be Same number of total hits, but a 1 in 4 chance that we will avoid being hit, instead of the one in nine chance if we play 18/10.

Fingers crossed, hoping I got it right. I never would have seen this over the board. The thought of leaving 3 blots in this situation just seems wrong.
