The hit is automatic. Should we lift our blot to safety after hitting? I think not. I prefer going for the knockout, 13/7* 8/6.

That would give the Dillies six 7s to hit back with. If they missed, we would have good chances to attack and/or make a five-point block. We might also be turning the cube!

O (Outer) = 13/7*, 8/6

Nactation: In the Outer family, half the roll is used playing to a destination in the outer board, and the other half is used jumping over the bar into the inner board. Under the Hit-More-Six Rule, landing a checker right on the 6pt beats coming to the 5pt, so that play gets the capital letter O. You can't get any closer to the 6pt than landing there!
