Hi all,
BackgammonAce analyzes all games by GNU 2ply. You can compare its error rate to XG as both of them are quite similar. They say "Snowie Error rate" because the style it is shown is the same style as Snowie shows.
i.e. (Total Amount of Error / Total Decisions) * 500

Error rate will usually be lower in BackgammonAce than live for several reasons.

1, You can use "Ace button" to get aid from Gnu 2ply.
The site allow you to ask bot's opinion. However it is limited as you need to spend "Ace". "Ace" can be obtained by clearing some bar (such as winning 5 games in a row or reaching 1600 rating or something like that) or buying it from the shop.

Some people hate it, some people love it. However, there are tons of people learning from it, and also enjoy winning because of it. Marc Olsen once told me that he initially hated the feature but now he took it as a strategical option. When to use is a very important and interesting problem, as you can't use unlimited of times.

Personally I don't use - but I'm okay with it.

2, You get a feedback as you play. It says "excellent" when you make the best play and "Good" when you play the play within 0.02. If you reach 1600 or more you can even get "blunder" shout !

3, You could choose "auto play" when it comes to a pure race so that you have 0% chance to make an error - at least according to its analysis.

4, Pip count is always shown.

Obviously 1 is the biggest factor. If you use "Ace" effectively (or buy lots of "Ace") then you can lower your PR by a lot. 2-4 is minor factor but probably lower your PR by 5-10% in my opinion.
