Although the gammon value of the opponent is normal, our own gammon value is zero. That usually means that we're less inclined to make plays like 13/9 8/5* at this score than for money, since we don't gain as much when the play works.
13/9 is a play for most wins, not for gammons. We have very low gammon chance here anyway. After locking one checker You have ca. 3%. With 2 outfielders it's maybe 7-10%. Here, You only have a CHANCE to do so, so I'd estimate 3-6% after the play, which is rather insignificant.
