If we play passively, bar/23 13/8, the Dilly Builders will have free rein to make an inside point or anchor. To prevent that, I think we have to challenge on their bar point. Sure, they will probably hit us there, but if they do, they may have to forego making a strong inside point. In case they decide not to hit, we will have a chance to make a good anchor or escape. Anything else surrenders all initiative to our opponents.

U (Up) = bar/18

Nactation: In the Up family, the checkers that move must all land between the 18pt and 24pt. To handle the large number of such plays that arise in Nackgammon, Up has been paired with Variant-up, with U going to the top-ranked play and V, to the second-ranked play. As usual, the Hit-More-6 Rule determines ranking.
