The reason I mentioned that was to emphasize the great disparity in the value to their teams of Lebron and Igoudala in the eyes of experts. Igoudala and Lebron both had great series, relative to expectation. But, Lebrons's value is several orders of magnitude greater than Igoudala's and there is nothing to justify Igoudala being awarded the MVP over Lebron, other than he was on the winning team. If that is to be the rule, they should change the title to 'MVP of the Championship Team'.

On another note, Igoudala's great defense of Lebron could have been aided by the fact that Lebron was wearing down, having logged so many minutes. The Cavs could ill afford to take Lebron out for breathers, as they lost by a point a minute when he was resting. Eventually fatigue catches up with everyone, even Lebron.
