I missed this one by choosing S (24/20 13/11). D (13/9 13/11) is best. If one of your outfield blots is hit you get 9,17, or 21 return hits. If Black can't hit, you'll have 16 ways to make the important 7-point. The overall winning chances are close between all plays as are the gammon-losing chances. What makes D best is that it wins the most gammons.
