Splitting has become a bit more risky than usual.

Because of the extra checker on the 8-point, the white blitz-power is higher than at the opening move.

For example after 13/9 24/21; D5: 6x1(2) 8/3(2); fan; Double.. it is Double/Pass instead of Double/Take.

I think it is better to play 13/9 13/10, with the idea that the extra risk is compensated by the extra blue returns.

Answer: 13/10 13/9
