OLM 20150630A The Prime Factors

David Rockwell has been helping me with my opening replies. One thing he has emphasized is looking at the number of checkers on opp's 8-point. Generally splitting if three are there but hanging on to the 24-point with if four. Thus typical split+builder plays appear to be wrong. Also, five on the midpoint is a signal to bring a builder down.
After 6/2* opp's checker on the bar changes the landscape. Now 24/21 is safer. Also 13/10 doesn't help much as a cover for the 2-point checker (if missed). Is that enough to go against the 8-point-count rule and over-loaded midpoint rule? (Or is something else best and I'm barking up the wrong trees?)
Extra checkers in the zone (here referring to opp's) not only make blitzing easier but also priming easier (when were hanging out on the 24-point). I'm going to take a tactical route, and maybe getting a lesson if I'm wrong....
6/2*, 24/21
