I enjoy these BG posers the solutions are so easy, just select the most ridiculous and unlikely play and you have it solved 24/18 8/5* Using my safety first style by playing the 3 first then the 6 then reverse the procedure it produces 3 practical rolls, the above, 13/7 8/5* and 24/15.Blue cannot allow white the freedom to make the 5 point and must must hit with the 3 8/5*. I guess leaving 2 blots to be hit by 2 from the bar is the feature that frightens players "I might be hit twice" No no no theres only a 5% chance of this happening. 24/18 is obvious as it gives high odds of making a high anchor "not many people know that !!" with a man from the bar, too offset the gammon threat. As blue, without thinking too deeply I hope to be hit. Blues ship may well founder but they must try to save the gammon cargo. Im not sure when I realised the gammon problem was paramount not early enough I'm thinking.

I do wonder why some try to hang DMP or Gammon Go etc plays on the most inappropriate positions maybe its just the fashion. Thats putting the cart before the horse. I saw plenty of carts and horses as a young man but never was the cart drawing the horse lol.
