Slotting the 3pt looks relatively routine. The Dillies have poor timing, and therefore, may want to run. With two inside blots, however, they will probably think twice before trying that. This is not a good time for them to start a hitting contest.

Nactation: In the Slot family, a single checker is moved to an unoccupied forward point (anything between the 1pt and 7pt). If, after slotting, one die remains unplayed, it must be used to play down, i.e., it must be used to move a checker to a destination in the outer board. Thus, for instance, on the opening roll, 21$ = 13/11, 6/5.
