Status Update

Funny story:

I had been pushing hard (so to speak) to get this paper and app out before the birth of my first child. I submitted the app to iTunes on June 25. Turnaround is usually about a week, so I posted the paper here on June 30, thinking I'd generate a little buzz a day or so before the app dropped.

On July 1 we found we were having the kid a little earlier than we had thought. Early July 2 iTunes rejected the app, asking for a Restore Purchases button. (The functionality was already there, but they wanted a button.) Late July 2, Caspian Sea was born. Everyone is happy and healthy. And sleepy.

I managed to submit a fix on July 5, but as of now the app is still "waiting for review." Ah well. It should be here soon.

Thanks for all the interesting comments. I might have responded more this last week, but I've been a little distracted. :)
