Bob, the time and effort you put into going through these calculations and writing them down for us is most appreciated. I will work in this and practice this, as you suggested, and I am sure in another 55 years or so of practice I might just be able to do this over the board in time to make dinner.

Being first and foremost a teacher I must also first and foremost be a student. Thanks for your help. My next step will be to try to translate this into a format that most of my students (from beginner to low open) can relate to without fainting.
