I am not good enough to not make the deuce here, so that's my play. QF suggests it is wrong.

What could make it right to make the 3 in stead? I guess making the 3 will make it easier to come off the mid as white is no longer threatening the 9P. You also get one more spare to play with as you would be willing to give up the 8P (but not the 6P) to make a new inner point, especially if pointing on white in the process. Are these things enough to make the 3 better than the deuce? I can't work that out so I will just make the deuce, minimizing shots and pushing white forward in the process.
