This is great news!

As for the name, does the app have anything to do with XG per se? If not, then it seems a little confusing to call it "XG Transcriber." How about simply "Backgammon Transcriber" or BGT for short? I don't like it when marketing considerations trump practical considerations.

garyo's suggestion of "XGmatic" or "BGmatic" is catchy, but doesn't convey what the program does. I think your original idea of having "Transcriber" in the name is better.
