I just saw Casper's suggestion of "eXtreme Transcriber" or XT. Despite my previous objection, I think this is not a bad suggestion. The use of "eXtreme" suggests that there's some relationship with eXtreme Gammon, but since "Gammon" doesn't appear, the customer is alerted to the fact that it's not necessarily part of XG itself but is just a related product. Also "eXtreme Transcriber" is shorter and catchier than "eXtreme Gammon Transcriber."

The only potential downside I see is that backgammon isn't mentioned anywhere in the name. But perhaps this is actually a strength, if you envisage eventually expanding the technology to transcribing other board games.
