Transcription Process...

Not ever. However, to anyone new to my process, or unfamiliar in any way, I do offer to let them see exactly what I am doing at any given time, or indeed to do it for me.

It certainly doesn't lower my level of concentration, it keeps me focused, its just more of a mental drain after the fact.

Although, having recently played Steve Sax three times in Novi - I don't think anyone will ever give me more mental drain - he is such a tough opponent, and an extremely nice guy too, but omg, my brain was melting after the matches. Of course, there were other factors involved too, general physical condition, mental condition etc. (all were low for me). Note - I didn't transcribe any matches from Novi - too much for me to cope with.
