Me too.

Many moments I won't forget. On the lighter side the night five us went to a Texas diner at 3 am. Two of the players were legends from the seventies (one is still a legend and HOF player); another was a young and somewhat naive prodigy. The two legends were schooling him on "playing while under the influence." They seem to have been "in the moment," so to speak. Indeed, one freaked out the entire restaurant when he sneaked outside, pressed his face up against the window, and banged loudly on the glass.

The eternal legend (back inside) said that he was tripping on acid once while playing an important match, and came out of an extended revery (i.e. he was hallucinating his brains out) only to realize that a crowd of sixty or seventy kibitzers were waiting for him to make a play.

Then he smiled to himself: "They probably think I'm thinking deep thoughts!" Which was sort of true. And went ahead and made his move.
