The Charlotte Knights, triple-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, are about to wrap up their 2nd season in their beautiful, uptown ballpark. Part of the reason the Knights have led the nation in attendance the past two seasond is that BB&T Park is one of the nicest AAA parks in the country, with fabulous views of the Charlotte skyline -- especially from our season ticket seats!
The last 3 games of the season are Wednesday, 9/2 - Friday, 9/4, against the Durham Bulls. There will be fireworks after the game on Friday, the $3 drafts on Thirsty Thursday.
Needless to say, I'll be otherwise engaged. So, if you happen to be in Charlotte those dates, and are not busy (say, playing the Faster Master, Queen City Cup, Doubles, etc), shoot me a note. Or, if you happen to have a spouse, son, daughter, etc, who is in Charlotte and likely to be bored (say, by the Faster Master, Queen City Cup, Doubles, etc), let me know.
