So one of the top players in the world is playing games with people for free with commentary and is not being overwhelmed by the response....

I suspect the problem may be that we are talking to ourselves.

How do we send messages and who are we sending them to?

Messaging through the leagues? Messaging through the Play Sites?

I have never logged into the microsoft, google, or yahoo sites. Fibs is my old standby...

GammonVillage has a nice messaging channel to it's customers.

Is Xavier willing to send backgammon announcements out to his customers?

I used to watch matches on GamesGrid but can't seem to get reinstated there. I suspect pissing off a certain Giant didn't help my cause. ;)

How do we develop a basic mailing lists of people or a decent communication channel to people interested in backgammon.

I get Mochy's twitch and facebook notifications on my phone but I suspect the other 50,000 people who would kill for these kinds of opportunities are simply unaware.

I generally do a couple of shouts on fibs when there are matches or commentaries/seminars going on that I am aware of and more of that on the other site could help from grass roots but I think the shout out needs to be more widely spread to be effective.

Bgonline speaks to open players and die hards so creates a forum for this discussion but it doesn't speak to the masses of recreational players that are needed to support the game.
