Making the best of a bad position

I'm curious about this one. I've been "dusting off" my game by playing almost exclusively DMP matches against XG for the past couple of weeks, so it's pretty reflexive to play 24/16. (At least I'm fairly sure that's the DMP move.) At gammon-save giving up the anchor is probably wrong, but I'm having trouble deciding whether to clear the midpoint entirely or to leave a checker there to pressure White's midpoint (13/5 or 13/8 4/1). I'll try 13/5.
