It does work on smartphone even in airplane mode.

I think it would benefit from also giving the opponent's gammon and bg %ages and most importantly the DT equities and ND equities.

There is an easy trap to fall into when studying in this manner regarding not memorizing the positions. One could recognize enough of a position to remember something like "this is the one in my study set which is 1.04 DT" but using a reference position system effectively requires being able to generate the positions exactly from memory.
