Well we're more than 20 down in the race so stepping up the back anchor is not much of an option.

I'd just automatically make the 5 prime and play 11/7(2), 13/9, 10/6. Crucially, your opponent will not be at the edge of the prime, and hopefully he'll crush his game enough so you can easily escape the back men.

The blitz option of 8/4 (2), 11/3 is a big overplay and leaves tonnes of blots. If you have a crystal ball saying he'll fan then play that, if you can't predict the future, dont.
