Simple once you see it?

I find "attack or prime" plays difficult. My preferred attacking play is 11/3*(2) rather than 11/3* 8/4(2) because I don't want to be leaving a direct shot with White's fairly strong board and all my blots. If we prime instead, then 13/9 11/7(2) seems automatic and then we have to find a fourth 4. Splitting looks wrong so it's either 10/6 or 8/4. 8/4 threatens to make a six-prime but it's costly to get hit; I think I'd chicken out with 10/6.
Finally we can consider neither attacking nor running but escaping instead. 13/9 still looks mandatory and then what? 21/17(2) 10/6 I guess. I don't like it. We're still behind in the race.
At DMP, priming tends to take precedence over attacking, though putting a checker on the bar is a good way of winning too. Here it seems that 11/3*(2) leaves a few too many return shots for comfort. I will try 13/9 11/7(2) 10/6.
By the way, ironically, this is the sort of position that makes me want to play touch-move, because it's too easy to lose track of the original position if one shuffles around the checkers a lot.
