Backgammon Ace - Interesting Tool

Some of the players on fibs seem to have gnubg 2-ply's number when it comes to backgame and priming games. A few seem to be using it to game their elo's. It would be better if backgammon ace used 3-ply but as a first cut analysis it is quick and helpful.

Raising people's playing level to average that of gnu's 2-ply would create a bunch of new open class players even if they did occasionally play a few bad checker moves and could be beaten like drums in a backgame.

Running a bunch of 3-ply gnu's takes a fair bit of cpu. So it might not be practical. A server mode for XG would be another nice to have on the list that Xavier doesn't have time for ;)
