XG's Dice Distribution feature

This position came up in a 1pt match versus XG:

I played 9/5 22/21. XG dinged me for it, preferring 13/9 22/21 by .038.

Medium-sized errors of this type can often be difficult to correct. It's time consuming to go through White's responses and Blue's follow-up responses. I know that XG'x Dice Distribution feature is designed to help with this, but I rarely take a look at it because I find it confusing. I've read the help file, but still don't understand how best to make use of this tool. I'm wondering how many of you use this feature, and if someone could use the position above and walk us through how we could use Dice Distribution to understand it better.
