Good Practice Provisions for Blind or Visually Impaired Players

Good work, but I would add one provision. A blind or visually impaired player may have an assigned and approved (by the TD) assistant. The assistant can provide, out loud so all players can hear, any pertinent information about the game so long as the assistant does not offer help or advice with checker or cube decisions. The assistant can call out the rolls, the moves of the opponent, and provide the pip count only when asked, or answer direct questions when asked, such as the time on the clock, the position of the cube, the score. or location of checkers.
