Something I have learned from the bots - after the hit we take a good lead in the race, so we don't need to leave blots on our side of the board that can be picked up during one of the following rolls. Also, as usually we will get hit next turn, we are not going to use the builder if we leave it on the 9. And the 4th checker on the 8 is useful in any case.

If we for some reasons don't play 9/8 21/20 dupes our 4s, so maybe we ought to play 24/23 in that case, although that looks weird. In any case, 9/8 for me.
