The week after, I saw the guy compete in the European team championships in Budapest - impressive! (Side advantage of playing at that age: he was in the Czech team with his own mother)

My teammate Michel Lamote was in Prague too. He had a very good error rate and many reasons to be very happy but remarked sadly that it took him so long to reach this level only to be overtaken by a 17 year old !
