I would volunteer to moderate occasionally for free as I'm sure others would up to a certain allotment of time. I think it helps greatly to have a strong player there to oversee things because all too often I see the right plays being made or justified for very wrong reasons or the wrong plays being eliminated for the wrong reasons. XG can tell you the what but sometimes we need a human to tell us the why.

If you were to get a small group of players, 3-5 or a rotating bigger group, I might suggest if you wanted to be sure to have a teaching pro at each session that you pay them. It would be a small fee for each individual. You could either have a theme for the week where everyone could bring in related problems, you could have everyone bring in 3 problems of their own on any which theme they liked, you could have the pro do a lesson on a predetermined subject, you could play doubles or triples with the pro there to oversee and add insightful commentary where needed, etc...
