Below is literally the first (and so far, only) related position that I asked XG about. XG 3-ply Normal wants to break the board but XGR+ doesn't. At minimum, I think that this shows that we should be cautious about taking a 3-ply rollout at face value when the equity differences are small. If breaking the board in the original position is a donkey play, as I suspect, a 3-ply Normal rollout may underestimate how much better it is to hold the board, because it will just break the board like a donkey next time anyway.
