XG bug?

I have only seen it once. In a chouette the box had doubled the field which consisted of 7 players. It was a horrible double, and everyone scooped the cubes immediately, but one player beavered. The position never went into XG, but it wasn't a drop. He dropped it though just because he realized his error and wanted to limit the damage since he already had six 2 cubes out there.

Heads up though, it would have easily been a Beaver/Take.
