How to do 1296 Division Quickly and Accurately

My mind doesn't think about numbers the way "normal" peoples' minds do. This also means that I basically can't teach math stuff nor can I be taught. Therefore I have to develop my own math methods.

The method here will work fine, but what I do is to just divide by 100 (move decimal point) and then divide by 13 and consider it good enough.

Or since we are looking for % in BG divide by 13 to get the approximate percentage figure.

I believe that I have written this up at least once over the past few decades.
